The AI-powered vibe-coding startup Anything has skyrocketed to a $100 million valuation after achieving $2 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) within just two weeks of launch. The company announced its $11 million funding round led by Footwork, with additional backing from Uncork, Bessemer Venture Partners, and M13.
A New Wave of Vibe-Coding Innovation
Vibe coding—building apps and websites using natural language prompts powered by AI — is rapidly gaining momentum. Competitors like Lovable, Replit, and others have already demonstrated remarkable growth, but many still face a key challenge: moving from prototypes to production-ready applications.
Anything sets itself apart by offering a complete infrastructure solution, including databases, storage, and payment systems. This makes it easier for nontechnical users to launch fully functional apps directly to the App Store or web without needing additional integrations.
Empowering Nontechnical Creators
Co-founders Dhruv Amin and Marcus Lowe, both former Google employees, designed Anything to help creators build real businesses. Already, users have developed applications such as habit trackers, CPR training tools, and hairstyle try-on apps—with some beginning to generate revenue.
According to Amin, “We want to be the Shopify of the space, where people build apps that make money on top of us.”
Standing Out in a Crowded Market
While the vibe-coding industry is highly competitive, Anything’s in-house infrastructure could be a major differentiator. Unlike rivals that depend on third-party services like Supabase, Anything built its back-end systems internally, giving it tighter integration and greater scalability.
Despite competition from startups like Mocha and Rork, investors remain optimistic. “It seems there’s enough demand out there for different types of app-building products,” said Nikhil Basu Trivedi of Footwork.
The Future of AI App-Building
Anything’s explosive early traction and bold infrastructure-first strategy position it as a strong contender in the growing AI-powered app development market. With user demand soaring, the company aims to become a leader in enabling creators to transform AI-generated prototypes into profitable businesses.
