ChatGPT may soon support Apple Health integration on the iPhone, allowing users to receive more personalized and wellness-focused assistance. Internal code from the latest update of the ChatGPT iOS app includes the Apple Health icon and identifiers that point to a possible connection between the two apps.
If this feature becomes available, ChatGPT would be able to access different Apple Health categories such as activity, sleep, diet, breathing, and hearing. With this data, the AI could provide more relevant responses, such as suggestions for improving fitness routines, sleep quality, diet patterns, or general lifestyle habits based on individual user information.
Although the app has recently been updated, there is no official confirmation of when or whether the Apple Health integration will launch. If released, Apple Health is expected to appear inside the ChatGPT app under the Apps & Connectors section.
This development aligns with ChatGPT’s expanding ability to connect with external apps and services. The platform already supports connections with various tools for work, productivity, file storage, and communication. Adding health and wellness data would help ChatGPT become even more useful in day-to-day life, extending its role from an information assistant to a personalized wellness companion.
