The Fuel Accelerator has announced the launch of its fourth HealthTech cohort, welcoming eight innovative startups focused on solving major challenges in the healthcare industry.
The accelerator program, run by the Startup Junkie Foundation, will begin with a kickoff event on March 10 at the Fly OZ Lounge at Thaden Field in Bentonville.
The 10-week program, running from March to May, will bring entrepreneurs together in Northwest Arkansas to access mentorship, capital, and industry connections designed to accelerate health technology innovation.
Entrepreneur in Residence Announced
Alongside the new cohort, the accelerator has appointed Diana McDaniel as its new entrepreneur in residence.
McDaniel is a healthcare executive and CEO of Prosper Med. She previously played a key role in launching Arkansas Children’s Northwest, the region’s first pediatric hospital.
In her new role, McDaniel will mentor founders and help guide startups on growth strategy, operational scaling, and navigating the healthcare ecosystem.

The new cohort features startups from across the United States working on cutting-edge healthcare technologies:

- The TeleDentists – Kansas City, Missouri
- PredictivCare – San Francisco, California
- Vital Audio – Brooklyn, New York
- Adrentris – Austin, Texas

These startups are developing solutions ranging from AI-powered clinical intelligence and voice-based health monitoring to virtual care platforms and healthcare workforce management tools.

Many companies in this year’s cohort are focused on artificial intelligence-driven technologies aimed at improving clinical decision-making and operational efficiency within healthcare systems.
Their innovations include tools for revenue cycle automation, employer-sponsored healthcare navigation, virtual care access, compliance management, and workforce hiring solutions.
Expanding the Program Across Arkansas
For the first time, the Fuel Accelerator program will expand beyond Northwest Arkansas by hosting a dedicated week in Little Rock.
This expansion will connect startups with healthcare leaders, medical institutions, and economic development organizations across the state, strengthening collaboration in the region’s growing health innovation ecosystem.
Supporting HealthTech Growth in Arkansas
The program receives financial support from the Arkansas Economic Development Commission and the Walton Family Foundation.
Since its launch in 2018, Fuel Accelerator has helped more than 90 startups connect with enterprise partners, accelerating the adoption of new technologies across healthcare and other industries.
Program director Grace Gill emphasized the growing opportunity for health innovation in the region, noting that the accelerator aims to showcase Arkansas as a hub for healthcare transformation.
With a strong focus on emerging technologies and industry partnerships, the new HealthTech cohort represents another step toward advancing innovation across the healthcare sector.
