Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold Specs Leak Ahead of Official Launch

Google’s highly anticipated Pixel 10 Pro Fold is set to make its debut at next week’s Made by Google event. However, a full spec sheet has already leaked, revealing significant upgrades that could give the device a strong edge over competing foldables from Samsung and Motorola.

IP68 Rating for Dust and Water Protection

According to reports, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will carry an IP68 rating, making it fully dustproof and resistant to continuous water submersion. This is a major step forward, as rival devices like the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Motorola Razr Ultra don’t offer complete dust protection.

Brighter Displays and Larger Cover Screen

The foldable will feature a 6.4-inch external display, slightly larger than the 6.3-inch panel on the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. Both the external and internal displays will see improved brightness levels, jumping from 2,700 nits to 3,000 nits, ensuring clearer visibility even under direct sunlight.

Wireless Charging and Camera Upgrades

The Pixel 10 Pro Fold will support 15W Qi2 wireless charging, although it misses out on the recently announced 25W standard. On the camera side, the hardware reportedly remains unchanged, but the device now offers 10x optical zoom, a notable upgrade from the previous 5x limit.

What This Means for Google’s Foldable Lineup

These enhancements suggest that Google is positioning the Pixel 10 Pro Fold as a serious contender in the foldable smartphone market. With stronger durability, brighter displays, and improved zoom capabilities, the device could be one of the most competitive foldables of 2025.
