- Keeping the Instagram account private: This is one of the worst mistakes brands can make. Businesses that want to grow and increase sales and also have a dedicated business account on Instagram for the same keep their accounts private for no particular reason. This way, they don’t accumulate followers, because people don’t know what is exactly that you offer till they don’t scroll down to see your content. Hence, the most essential thing to remember is to not keep Instagram accounts private, explains Arias.
