For Lenovo’s upcoming Googlebook 15, Mac Observer has acquired exclusive photos and a comprehensive specifications sheet, providing us with our first comprehensive look at Google’s new laptop platform. The device has an Intel Core Ultra 5 325 processor, up to 32GB of LPDDR5x memory, integrated Gemini Intelligence, a dedicated Google key, and a 15.3-inch 120Hz OLED display.
We now know a great deal more about the contents of the Lenovo Googlebook 15.
Along with Lenovo’s product sheet for the Googlebook 15, Mac Observer has acquired a collection of high-resolution product photos. Specifications, connectivity, size, battery capacity, Google-specific hardware features, and some of the ways Lenovo and Google intend to set Googlebook hardware apart from current Windows laptops and Chromebooks are all revealed in the docs.
According to Lenovo’s documentation, the device is known as the Lenovo GB 15IPH12, and it runs Googlebook OS.
A 15.3-inch 120Hz OLED screen is included with the Lenovo Googlebook 15.
On paper, the display is one of the hardware’s strongest components.

Lenovo offers a 15.3-inch OLED touchscreen with 500 nits of brightness, 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut, 16:10 aspect ratio, 2880 x 1800 resolution, and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
This places the Googlebook 15 squarely in the premium laptop category as opposed to the low-cost Chromebook category, which many people might connect with notebooks powered by Google.
Very tiny side bezels and a little elevated area surrounding the camera at the top of the display are visible in the photographs captured by Mac Observer.
Additionally, Lenovo uses a 5MP RGB webcam with two microphones and a hardware privacy shutter.
Four Dolby Atmos speakers provide the audio, and Lenovo’s mockups show massive speaker grilles on either side of the keyboard.
A specific Google key is available.
Sitting right on the keyboard is one of the more intriguing features.
In the bottom row, between the Fn and Alt keys, is a dedicated Google “G” key.
This essentially offers Googlebook its own counterpart to the Command key on a Mac or the Windows key on a PC, albeit the information we were able to gather does not specify what happens when the key is pressed.
Therefore, we will not make any assumptions regarding its software behavior just yet.
Lenovo uses a relatively big 150 x 95 mm haptic touchpad, and the keyboard itself is lighted.
Additionally, Googlebook is clearly branded on the palm rest, and Dolby Atmos is branded on the other side.
Up to 32GB of RAM and an Intel Core Ultra 5
An Intel Core Ultra 5 325 CPU with built-in graphics powers the Lenovo Googlebook 15. Lenovo will provide configurations with either 256GB or 512GB of storage and 16GB or 32GB of LPDDR5x memory.
Lenovo’s model name has another intriguing hint.
The system is designated as GB 15IPH12, and IPH is the platform code for Panther Lake-H according to Lenovo’s own naming policy in the same document.
Lenovo claims that the device has Intel Graphics and refers to the processor as a member of their “Series 3 Intel Core Ultra” series.
Unsurprisingly, a key component of Google’s AI plan is Gemini Intelligence, which is integrated into the Googlebook.
According to Lenovo, the laptop has integrated Gemini Intelligence that may offer “personal, proactive aid” when transforming an idea into an action. Additionally, the company claims that Googlebook can maintain synchronization with an Android phone, enabling users to access files and apps from their phone straight from their laptop.
There is insufficient information in the text to determine the precise extent of Android integration or which Gemini features will be unique to Googlebook.
Google’s standard limitations also apply to Gemini Intelligence availability. Lenovo claims that customers who are at least 18 years old will be able to access it in a few languages and regions.
Lenovo refers to the light on the lid as a “Glowbar.”
Glowbar is the name of the thin, multicolored strip that is visible close to the top edge of the lid.
Lenovo claims that the Glowbar shows the battery and charging status at a glance.
It appears as a thin Google-colored line down the lid and can be seen in a number of the photos captured by Mac Observer.
Lenovo adds Google facial authentication and a fingerprint reader as additional hardware features for the Googlebook 15.
Cloud Gray is the color of the metal chassis itself.
It is only 2.84 pounds in weight.
Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 7, HDMI, and Thunderbolt 4
For a laptop powered by Google, connectivity is exceptionally robust.
Lenovo claims that the Googlebook 15 starts at just 1.29 kg, or 2.84 pounds, despite having a 15.3-inch display.
It measures 341 x 236 x 15.9 mm, or roughly 13.43 x 9.29 x 0.63 inches.
Based on controlled movie playback tests, Lenovo claims that the battery, which has a 70Wh rating, can last up to 11 hours. Naturally, usage, location, network circumstances, and settings will all affect actual runtime.

Lenovo offers two Thunderbolt 4 ports, USB-A, HDMI 2.0, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and a 3.5mm audio combo jack.
The port layout is as follows, per the specifications sheet:
Ports on the Side
One Thunderbolt 4, one USB 3.2 Type-A, and one audio combination jack are on the left.
One Thunderbolt 4 with HDMI 2.0 on the right
Although the company’s disclaimer states that product photos are for illustration reasons, Lenovo’s product renders allow us to examine the laptop’s two sides up close.
Lenovo is also producing an AI mouse for Googlebooks.
It seems like Googlebook is more than just a laptop.
The Lenovo E310 True Wireless Stereo Earbuds, Lenovo 540 Convertible Tote Backpack, and Lenovo AI Mouse for Googlebook are listed as accessories in the product materials.
The white Lenovo mouse, which has the same multicolored accent as the laptop’s Glowbar, is placed next to the Googlebook 15 in one of the photos that Mac Observer was able to obtain.
We will not speculate until Lenovo or Google share additional information because the paperwork does not specify what makes the mouse a “AI Mouse.”

What the material does not reveal is equally important: there is no confirmed retail price or launch date in the documentation we obtained.
But the hardware makes Google’s intentions much clearer. The Lenovo Googlebook 15 is not shaping up to be a basic Chromebook replacement. Lenovo is building it around premium hardware, a high-resolution OLED screen, Intel Core Ultra silicon, Gemini, Android integration, and Google-specific features such as the Glowbar and dedicated G key.
And now we know exactly what one of the first Googlebooks looks like.
