Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath are preparing to take their final bow on the big screen. Titled “Back to the Beginning: Ozzy’s Final Bow,” a concert film documenting the band’s historic farewell performance will be released in theaters in early 2026.
The 100-minute film captures the sold-out stadium show at Villa Park in Birmingham, the band’s hometown, marking the first time the original lineup performed together in 20 years. The farewell show was attended by 42,000 fans in person and viewed via livestream by an additional 3 million people globally.
A Powerful Farewell to Heavy Metal’s Godfather
Produced by Mercury Studios, the film is described as a “love letter to Ozzy” and the iconic sound of Black Sabbath. It will feature powerful live performances of legendary tracks like:
- War Pigs
- Iron Man
- Children of the Grave
- Paranoid
In addition to the music, the film promises intimate behind-the-scenes footage and exclusive interviews, offering fans a raw and emotional look at Osbourne’s final moments on stage with his bandmates.
Health Battles and an Unforgettable Legacy
At age 76, Ozzy Osbourne performed seated, due to his recovery from multiple spinal surgeries and his ongoing battle with Parkinson’s disease. Despite his health challenges, the performance stands as a powerful symbol of perseverance and devotion to music.
Following the theatrical release, a physical version of the film will be made available later in 2026. More release details are expected in the coming months.
