It appears that Samsung is developing a set of open-ear Galaxy Buds, which may be released in the near future.

Open-ear earbuds have abruptly taken over, even though the best wireless earbuds still have features like ANC and excellent sound quality. It appears like Samsung is getting ready to rival the Huawei FreeClip 2, which we recently reviewed and found to be among the most pleasant open-ear earbuds we have ever used.

According to SammyGuru, Samsung seems to be developing the Galaxy Buds On, a pair of open-ear earphones. We have an early glimpse at the earbuds thanks to the publication’s sharing of what seem to be product renders of the gadget.

The source claims that the Galaxy Buds On will have a fairly conventional open-ear design with two circular parts joined by a flexible silicone loop. The flatter portion will stay outside and probably serve as a touch control and gesture area, while one side will likely sit closer to the user’s ear.

The Galaxy Buds On are seen in black in the leaked renderings, but a white alternative also seems to be in the pipeline.

Additionally, illustrations demonstrating how the Galaxy Buds On will clip around the user’s ears were extracted by the publication. According to the source, the earbuds will have head movements like nodding and shaking in addition to Auto Volume, which will automatically change the volume based on your environment.

According to reports, another intriguing feature will recognize when the wearer has fallen asleep and instantly stop whatever is playing.

The precise date that Samsung intends to release the Galaxy Buds On is currently unknown. We may soon learn much more about Samsung’s next hardware, though, since the company currently has a number of devices reported to be in the works, including the eagerly anticipated Galaxy Glasses and Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra.
