Ana de Armas’ Ballerina, a John Wick spinoff, is set to hit theaters in 2024

On June 7, 2024, the John Wick spinoff The Ballerina will be released in theaters.

The announcement on Tuesday follows John Wick: Chapter 4 currently has a worldwide box office gross of $250 million, bringing the four-pic franchise’s worldwide total to over $833 million.

Ana de Armas plays an assassin trained in the Ruska Roma tradition in The Ballerina. Other returning cast members include Anjelica Huston, Gabriel Byrne, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Norman Reedus, and franchise stars Keanu Reeves, Ian McShane, and the late Lance Reddick.

Ballerina is directed by Len Wiseman and based on a script by Shay Hatten. Chad Stahelski, Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, and the director of John Wick also produce.

The pic is a Thunder Road Films / 87eleven production.

With $73.8 million in the United States and Canada and $138 million worldwide, John Wick Chapter 4 set a new franchise record at the box office.
