The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max will have larger displays of 6.3 and 6.9 inches, respectively

Ross Young of Display Supply Chain Consultants, a frequently accurate display industry analyst, predicts that the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max models that will go on sale in 2024 will have displays that are approximately 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches in size, respectively.

The display sizes of 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches are rounded up. In response to our news story, Young stated that during his May 23 speech at the Display Week conference in Los Angeles, he would reveal the actual sizes down to two decimal places. Young did not specify whether the iPhone 16 standard and iPhone 16 Plus will also feature larger screens.

As the iPhone continues to grow in size, the new display sizes would be the largest ever. In contrast, the displays on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches, respectively, and it is not anticipated that these sizes will change when the iPhone 15 Pro models are released later this year.

Young has a good track record with display-related data about future Apple products. He has previously accurately stated that ProMotion would be available on the iPhone 13 Pro, the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros, the sixth-generation iPad mini would feature a larger 8.3-inch display, and numerous other details.
