Google Doodle Celebrates 64th Austria Independence Day

The present Doodle observes Austria’s National Day, referred to in German as Nationalfeiertag. The day will observe Austria’s 64 Years of Independence or 64th Independence Anniversary.

On this day in 1955, Austria passed a law that proclaimed the country’s perpetual nonpartisanship, and the date has been held for the recognition of the nation’s National Day since 1965.
