High-resolution photos of the Asus ROG Phone 8 appear before it launches

More high-resolution images of Asus’ upcoming gaming phone, the ROG Phone 8, are available via MySmartPrice for those of you who can’t get enough of the device. The pictures show the phone from almost every angle.

Naturally, you won’t be missing much if you’re not all that excited about Asus’s upcoming flagship and you’ve already seen the earlier leaks of images. On January 16, the ROG Phone 8 and ROG Phone 8 Pro are anticipated to make their formal debut.

Asus will undoubtedly release both models in other nations shortly after their initial release in China. There are good reasons to upgrade if you’re a fan of the series and currently own a previous generation ROG Phone.

The ROG Phone models that were introduced two to three years ago undoubtedly had better specs, but it also appears that the design has changed. The flat, non-glossy design of the upcoming ROG Phone 8 and ROG Phone 8 Pro is something I like. Compared to the ROG Phone 5, which feels enormous and has a glossy back that makes it extremely slippery, this is a significant upgrade.

Regarding specifications, it is said that the ROG Phone 8 Pro will have an amazing 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with support for HDR10 and a refresh rate of 165Hz. It’s also reasonable to assume that Asus will incorporate an internal Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, up to 24GB of RAM, and 1TB of memory.

Regarding its camera, the ROG Phone 8 Pro is expected to be impressive. The upcoming flagship is rumored to have three cameras: a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 32-megapixel primary camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 13-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor. However, nothing has been confirmed as of yet.

According to reports, the ROG Phone 8 and ROG Phone 8 Pro are both IP68 certified. They will run Android 14 out of the box and be powered by 5,500 mAh batteries that support 65W fast charging.
